Background

Devro is one of the world's largest suppliers of premium collagen casings, headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland. It was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1993 and operates eight production facilities across Scotland, Australia, the Czech Republic, the United States, China, and other locations, with products sold in over 100 countries and regions.

Devro Nantong project is the group’s sole manufacturing and R&D base in China, with a total investment exceeding 200 million pounds.

In late 2022, the company was acquired by a German agricultural company Saria SE & Co. KG.
